The integrations section allows you to setup and import your IOOF TAS client list and link them to your client's portals.
Before you begin…
Before connecting the integration, please ensure a datafeed registration request is sent to IOOF via the following link: https://dataservices.ioof.com.au/support.
Once the request is recieved, IOOF will register the adviser and send an email containing the datafeed credentials. Once the credentials are recieved you will be ready to connect the IOOF integration in your partner portal.
Permissions
The sync between IOOF and the portal occurs at the adviser level, not the firm level. This means only client data you have sufficient permissions for in IOOF will be imported when you enable the connection.
What data gets imported?
Once it is set up and linked, the portal will import your clients’ portfolio information and/or super balances. A read only view of your clients’ holdings, transactions and details will be displayed.
Note: Transactions are only viewable in the Wealth area under the asset, not in the Cashflow area.
To link your IOOF TAS account:
-
In your Partner Portal, visit 'Configure' > 'Integrations' and click 'Setup' within the IOOF TAS Integration.
-
At the setup page, enter your Adviser ID, username and password, then click ‘Save’.
-
Once your credentials are accepted, you will see the message ‘Successfully connected to IOOF feed.
-
Return to the Integrations area and click 'View funds'.
-
A list of your funds will be shown. The fund Name, Fund ID and linking status will be displayed.
To link an IOOF TAS fund to a client:
- From the IOOF TAS fund list, find the name of the fund you want to link to a client and click 'Link'.
-
A pop-up window appears. Search the client/entity to link with the chosen fund, set the fund type and click 'Link'.
- Once linked, in the fund list area in addition to 'Link', you will see a 'Details' button in the status column.
By clicking 'Details' you will see the Client/Entity name and email address that the fund has been linked to. - Once the fund has been linked, you can go to your client's portal and view the account in SMSF or Portfolios in the Wealth section.
NOTES:
- To view the email account linked to a file, click on the ‘Details’ link in the MP account column in the feeds page.
- It is important to click on the ‘Refresh Fund list’ icon regularly as new clients are added in IOOF often and will appear in the portal only after you have refreshed the environment. The system will show "updating fund list' when processing.
