We are not recommending sending any communications to your clients about the upcoming MFA. However, if you would like to send to your clients a communication about MFA, we have prepared an example which can be adjusted to suit your firm.

Ensuring your data security is essential, which is why from 30 November 2024 myprosperity (our client portal) are enhancing their Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) capabilities and making MFA mandatory for all clients.
There are a range of ways you can implement MFA in the portal. You can choose to receive a one-time code to your email, SMS, Authenticator app (i.e. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator etc.) or use your device’s Fingerprint or Face Recognition to authenticate.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to do anything right now. From the 30 November, you will be prompted to set up MFA when you next log in to the portal.
