With the import of other balance sheet items from XPLAN into the portal, you are in control of the decision making progress as to what data can and should be added or created within the portal.
To review and import:
- Once the import is completed (see How does the XPLAN integration work?), navigate to the client list.
- Any client imported and new to the portal( a new email account) will be added to the client list with a NEW next to the client name.
- Any client with imported data, will have a red dot next to the name to advise imported data needs to be reviewed.
- Click on the client’s name you want to review the data for and you will see how many imported wealth items require review. Click ‘Review now’
- Once redirected to the client portal wealth area, click on ‘Review all’ to view the information imported.
- A review item page opens, showing the item from XPLAN and under items from the portal that you could link to. If they should be matched, click on the item to link, otherwise, choose from
- It’s not in the list of existing items. Add as a new item
- Remove this item, I don’t want to import it
- Skip for now

Once all items have been reviewed and dealt with, your client will no longer have a red dot next to their name in the client list and the ‘Review all’ in the Wealth area will be removed.
Note: If you make the wrong decision and create an asset in the portal but want Xplan to be the source of truth, simply delete the Wealth item in the portal and you can reimport Xplan data
