It is important for your client contact information to match in all your systems. We have made it easy for your firm to do that with the integration between Xplan and your partner portal.
If your client contact information such as home address, telephone numbers and date of birth are maintained in Xplan, than you Do Not need to use the SYNC function in the integration page as the Xplan import data allows a toggle of this information to come into your portal on import from Xplan.
If you use your client portal contact info as the source of truth for the client's contact information, then the Sync Data in the integration page of your portal is what you need.
Choose the client you would like to Sync contact information from the portal to Xplan from the list
Click Save and Continue.
Within minutes, your Xplan client will have all the contact information that was listed in the portal.
1. To use the Sync data, you must first ensure the client has been imported at least once for the sync to work correctly. If you have not imported the client from Xplan, you will receive an error like the one below.
2. Syncing WILL remove all contact information for the client in Xplan and replace with the contact information from the Portal. This cannot be undone.
