Within the portal, historically, the focus had been on individuals, their personal emails and their family data, documents and information. Their related entity information was bundled somewhere within their personal file.
Entities often have their own set of information, documents, tasks and Team members, separate to those of an individual. Now, rather than sending tasks and information related to an entity to an individual's account, the portal allows you to create a separate workspace for an Entity.
The entity workspace focus is on entity specific Tasks, digital forms, digital document signing, Rooms and the ability to add connections (similar to Team members) who are authorised to act on behalf of the entity.
A connection of an entity workspace can easily switch between their personal portal and their connected entity workspace/s - keeping things clean and simple!
