This integration allows you to add clients, entities and their contact information to your Partner portal from GreatSoft in a few easy steps!
The integration with GreatSoft allows you to create not only a client but also an entity as a client within the Partner portal.
The integration between GreatSoft and your Partner portal occurs at the user level, not the firm level.
This means only client/entity data you have sufficient permissions for in GreatSoft will be imported when you enable the connection.
What data gets imported?
The integration between GreatSoft and your Partner portal allows you to import an individual or an entity as a client on an individual import basis.
Data that can be imported for a Client: Client name, email, phone number, date of birth, address.
Data that can be imported for an Entity: Entity name, entity type (Company, Trust, etc) and address.
How to set up your GreatSoft integration:
From your Partner portal, navigate to Configure>Integrations and click on 'Setup' within the GreatSoft Integration tile.
You are taken to the GreatSoft Integration setup page.
Select the client property (In Charge, Manager or Partner) you use to identify the main staff member for a given client from the drop-down list, paste in your GreatSoft base URL and click 'Connect'.
- A Redirection to the GreatSoft program screen opens for you to click to Continue to GreatSoft.
- You are then taken to GreatSoft where the connection confirmation will need to be confirmed and established. Once established, navigate back to the Partner portal GreatSoft Integration page where you will see the status of the connection.
Note: This connection can be updated using the Update Connection near the URL as shown above.
