This integration allows you to add clients, entities and their contact information to your Partner portal from MYOB Practice Management (MYOB PM) in a few easy steps!
The integration with MYOB PM allows you to create not only a client but also an entity as a client within the Partner portal.
The integration between MYOB PM and your Partner portal occurs at the user level, not the firm level.
This means only client/entity data you have sufficient permissions for in MYOB PM will be imported when you enable the connection.
What data gets imported?
The integration between MYOB PM and your Partner portal allows you to import an individual or an entity as a client on an individual import basis.
Data that can be imported for a Client: Client name, email, phone number, date of birth, address.
Data that can be imported for an Entity: Entity name, entity type (Company, Trust, etc) and address.
How to set up your MYOB PM integration:
From your Partner portal, navigate to Configure>Integrations and click on 'Setup' within the MYOB PM Integration tile.
You are taken to the MYOB PM Integration setup page.
Select the client property (In Charge, Manager or Partner) you use to identify the main staff member for a given client from the drop-down list, paste in your MYOB PM base URL and click 'Connect'.
- A Redirection to the MYOB PM program screen opens for you to click to Continue to MYOB PM.
- You are then taken to MYOB PM where the connection confirmation will need to be confirmed and established. Once established, navigate back to the Partner portal MYOB PM Integration page where you will see the status of the connection.
Note: This connection can be updated using the Update Connection near the URL as shown above.
