About the APS Integration
Add clients, entities, their contact information and relationships to your Partner portal from APS in a few easy steps!
The integration with APS allows you to create not only a client but also an entity as a client within the partner portal. You import clients both in bulk or client by client.
Permissions
The integration between APS and your partner portal occurs at the user level, not the firm level.
This means only client/entity data you have sufficient permissions for in APS will be imported when you enable the connection.
Enabling the integration in APS:
- You must confirm that within APS, third party full access is authorised. This will ensure the successful integration with myprosperity.
- It is a requirement of this integration that Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA) is enabled for both staff and clients. Ensure you have enabled MFA for your firm by following these steps
What data can be shared via the Integration?
The integration between APS and your partner portal allows you to import an individual or an entity as a client, and this is now done on a 1:1 basis.
Data that can be imported for a Client: Client name, email, phone number, date of birth, address, gender and relationships.
Data that can be imported for an Entity: Entity name and entity type only.
Enabling and using the integration:
Step 1: If you have not already, you must enable MFA for staff and clients firm wide.
This is a requirement for APS third party integrations. To mandate MFA for Staff and Clients see: How do I enable MFA for my firm
Step 2: Once MFA has been enabled for your firm, connect your APS account to the portal via the dedicated integration page.
For further instructions see How to setup your APS integration
Step 3: If a connection has already been established, the Client list or the search bar will be where you will import a client/entity and their data.
