Once you have connected a client to their CFS Edge file, you are free to import the client's details and documents.
Client details that can be imported are : Name, title, email, phone number, date of birth, address, gender and any documents stored in CFS.
Triggering an import of this data reduces double handling and increases accuracy.
NOTE: Before importing a clients details to the portal, be sure that you have added the client from CFS Edge to the partner portal
To import a client's details and documents from CFS Edge:
- Locate the Client in the Client list.
Click the 'More actions' >Integration actions>CFS Edge>Import items from CFS Edge.

A slide-out window will appear.
By default, Client details will be imported when triggering an import from CFS Edge to the portal. You can use the toggle to turn on/off the import of Documents as necessary.
Click 'Continue'. -
Once the import has been triggered, a confirmation window will appear to let you know the Import is in progress.
Click the 'Review Integration progress' link
- This will take you to the Integration Progress screen, where a list of all integration actions from the past 72 hours can be seen.
NOTE: You can access the Integration Progress screen at any time via Configure>Integrations>Integration Progress. - The client's details and Documents have now been imported from CFS Edge.
Documents imported from CFS Edge are automatically stored in the client's 'Uploads' folder within their Docs area.
Client details imported from CFS Edge are automatically updated and stored within the Clients 'Private details' section in the Team area.
