Exporting documents stored in your client's portal to SharePoint is a quick and easy process which reduces the need to download and re-upload to the other system saving valuable time.
You can export to SharePoint is on a document by document basis, or in bulk if you prefer.
To export a single document to SharePoint:
You can export a single document directly from the 'Docs' area of the Client's portal or from the 'Uploaded documents' section of your Partner portal.
1. Locate the document (from either the 'Uploaded documents' or 'Docs' area of the client's portal), click the 'Sync' button , select 'SharePoint' and click 'Apply'.
2. Once completed, a message will appear at the bottom of the page advising if the sync was successful and the sync button will turn green.
3. The documents will now appear in the client's 'myprosperity' folder in SharePoint, with 'Connected to Mp' ticked.
To export documents to SharePoint in bulk:
1. To export all documents stored in the Client's portal (not previously exported to SharePoint), navigate to the Client in the Client List.
2. Select 'More actions'>'Integration actions'>'SharePoint'>'Export items to SharePoint'.
3. A slide-out window appears. Ensure the 'Upload Documents if they don't exist' toggle is turned on. Click 'Continue'.
4. An 'Export in progress' pop up will appear. Click 'Review the integration's progress'.
5. Within the 'Integration progress' screen, check that the status of the export shows as 'Completed'.
6. All documents stored in the Client's portal will now appear in their 'myprosperity' folder in SharePoint, with 'Connected to Mp' ticked.
