Importing a client's documents from SharePoint is a quick and easy process which reduces the need to download and re-upload to the other system saving valuable time.
The import from SharePoint can be done on a folder basis or on a document by document basis.
The import of documents from SharePoint to the client's portal can be triggered from both SharePoint or your Partner portal.
Importing from SharePoint via SharePoint
To Import all documents stored in the client's folder from SharePoint:
1. In SharePoint, visit > Documents > myprosperity, choose the client.
2. To export all documents in that client folder, click on 'Send to myprosperity'
3. A pop up message appears. Click 'Send to myprosperity'
4. Another pop up confirms your request.
5. In your client's portal, the documents will be located in the 'uploads' area of their Docs section as individual documents.
To Import a single document stored in the client's folder from SharePoint:
1. In SharePoint > Documents > myprosperity, choose the client and open the folder.
2. Click 'Send to myprosperity' for the document you would like to export.
3. A pop up message appears. Click 'Send to myprosperity'.
4. Another pop up confirms your request.
5. In your client's portal, the document will be located in the 'Uploads' area of their Docs section.
Importing documents from SharePoint via the Partner portal
- To export all documents stored in the client’s portal that have not previously been exported to SharePoint, navigate to the client via the Client List, click the client’s name to expand their details, then under the 'Integrations' section click the three vertical dots (⋮) next to 'SharePoint' and select 'Export items to SharePoint'.
2. A slide-out window appears. Ensure the 'Upload Documents if they don't exist' toggle is turned on. Click 'Continue'.
3. An 'Import in progress' pop up will appear. Click 'Review the integration's progress'.
4. Within the 'Integration progress' screen, check that the status of the import shows as 'Completed'.
5. All documents stored in the client's 'myprosperity' SharePoint folder (not previously imported), will now appear in the 'Docs' area of their Client portal.
