Email notifications are an important feature of your portal and are designed to help you keep up to date with your clients' activity, signature and digital form completion, new opportunities, tasks and much more.
You have the ability to control the types of notifications and reminders you receive within the settings area of your portal. The email notifications from your portal also include an 'unsubscribe' and 'manage your settings' link for quick access to update your preferences.
WARNING: If you Unsubscribe (instead of Manage your settings) you will miss out on very important notifications regarding your clients' activity. We recommend you Manage what you receive rather than a full unsubscribe.
To update your notification settings via your portal:
1. From the Partner Portal, navigate to your profile and select the drop down arrow.
2. From the drop down menu, select 'Open personal wealth portal'.
3. In your personal portal, navigate to your profile, from the drop down arrow select Settings.
4. A pop-up window will appear. Select 'Notification settings'.
5. A new window will open, allowing you to select or unselect the types of notifications you wish to receive.
Once you have made your selections, click 'Update notifications'.
6. Your changes will be saved and only those notifications you have selected will be sent from now on.
NOTE: You will continue to receive emails regarding your account (e.g. password reset, account activation, eSignature requests & payment notifications)
Unsubscribing using the 'unsubscribe' link within an email:
You can unsubscribe from certain email notifications by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link within your notification email.
NOTE: Important account related emails such as account activations, change of password or account deactivations cannot be unsubscribed from.
1. Click the 'unsubscribe' link within the body of the notification email and a web browser window will open. You will be asked to confirm you are not a robot, then click 'Unsubscribe'.
2. The page will refresh, and you will have confirmation that your settings have been updated.
By clicking the 'log in to your wealth portal' link, you can view and edit your notification settings as required.
3. If you wish to further update your notification settings from the unsubscribe screen, simply select or unselect the types of notifications you want to receive, and click 'Update notifications'.
4. The screen will refresh, and you will notice a message appears, advising that your preferences have been updated. You can click the 'Log in' link to view your updates.
