In the event that you have been disconnected, have changed the password for your Xplan user ID, wish to connect to a different Xplan user ID or a different Xplan URL, you will need to update your connection to Xplan.
Updating the connection between Xplan and your Partner Portal can be done in a few simple steps.
Caution: If you reconnect using a different login, this may affect the link to some clients previously connected.
To reconnect the Xplan integration:
Before you begin, ensure that you are logged out of Xplan.
In your Partner Portal, navigate to Configure>Integrations and click on 'Manage' within the Iress integration tile.
- The Xplan Integration setup screen will open. Click 'Update connection'.
- A 'Connection details' field will open. Paste in your Xplan Base URL and click 'Reconnect'.
Note: Your Xplan Base URL must not have any characters after '.com.au.' For example, the URL must be https://practicename.xplan.iress.com.au
- A popup window appears to redirect you to Xplan to complete the process. Click 'Continue to Xplan'.
Log in using your Xplan credentials.
- Once your credentials have been entered, authorise the integration by clicking ‘Allow’.
Once you click ‘Allow’ you’ll be redirected back to the portal. A message will display the status of the connection.
