If you have sent a document to your client for signing and no longer require the signature or you sent it in error, you can quickly and easily delete the document and/or esignature request.
To delete the esignature request and document/s:
NOTE: Deleting the esignature request and document will delete the esignature task and will also delete the document from the client's portal.
1. From the Dashboard, navigate to Documents>eSignatures.
2. From the 'Pending' list, locate the esignature request you want to delete. Click 'the three dots under Actions'>Delete'.
3. A pop-up box will appear. Select 'Delete esignature request and document' and click 'Delete'.
4. The esignature request and document/s are now deleted and a confirmation message will appear.
To delete the esignature request only:
NOTE: Deleting the esignature request will remove the esignature task but will keep the document stored in the client's portal.
1. From the Dashboard, navigate to Documents>eSignatures.
2. From the 'Pending' list, locate the esignature request you want to delete. Click 'the three dots under Actions'>Delete'.
3. A pop-up box will appear. Select 'Delete esignature request(document retained in portal'' and click 'Delete'.
4. The esignature request is now deleted and a confirmation message will appear.
The document/s will remain in the 'Docs' area of the client's portal.
